New Product Categories in the shop

Okay before I get to telling you about those new product categories, I wanted to share some info about myself. A friend of mine came up with these questions like “What’s Your Favorite Color” & “What’s Your Most Embarrassing Moment” for me one day. So, I thought I would share a few things about myself so you guys can get to know me a little better. So, here’s 10 questions and my answers for them:

Question #1. What’s Your Favorite Color?
Answer #1: Yellow; because it reminds me of sunshine and daisies.

Question #2: What’s Your Most Embarrassing Moment?
Answer #2: Having my dress fly up in the wind with granny panties on, lol.

Question #3: What Are You Listening to Right Now?
Answer #3: Taylor Swift’s “Delicate”

Question #4: What’s Your Favorite Hobby?
Answer #4: making scrapbook graphics & signature tags

Question #5: How Long Have You Been Making Signature Tags?
Answer #5: A really long time. I don’t think I got really serious about tagging though until around 1991.

Question #6: How Long Have You Been Making Scrapbook Graphics?
Answer #6: I started making them around the same time I started getting serious about making tags.

Question #7: What’s Your Favorite Season of The Year?
Answer #7: Autumn/Fall – I love those colors of browns, golds and orange.

Question #8: What Color Is Your Hair?
Answer #8: Dark brown with burgundy hi-lites.

Question #9: How Many Brothers and Sisters Do You Have?
Answer #9: I have 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Question #10: Tell Us Something About Yourself That Not Too Many People Know
Answer #10: I wasn’t raised like everyone else. I was raised in a children’s home along with my sister and 2 brothers. We had a lot of chores each day and we had to work hard for anything we wanted or were given to us. It was a hard life but I think it gave me some vital lessons about working for the things you really want in life and to never give up no matter how hard it gets.

OMG, so “finally” here we are at the new products category I wanted to tell you about. I have been busy adding products to the new categories; CU Taggers and CU Digital to my shop. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a work in progress because it’s taking a little longer than I expected to get some files uploaded to my site. But you can check out my shop and see the products that I’ve already added. Lots, lots more to be added but at least there’s something there right now, lol. Thanks and hugs, Mod Girl.

Autumn QP Freebie

Before I get to the freebie I wanted to tell you about my new mega tagger kit I just added to my shop. For those who don’t know, I like to sew. I have always made my own clothes since I was in grade school. It’s something I did when I was playing with Barbie and wanted new clothes for her but couldn’t find any I liked so I just made my own. In Junior High I made clothes for a class project and had to wear them and walk a runway so all the school could see them. I remember I made a jumper and it had a little pocket on the front top of it which was crooked, lol. I was so proud of that jumper because it was my first time learning to sew properly on a machine.

As the years went by I made other clothes for myself and then started sewing for the home. I recovered cushions, made pillows, made curtains, and then started making quilts. Quilting was something I also did as a job for awhile and when my hubby hated his job I told him to quit and we lived off of what I made with my quilting. We were a team. He cut all the patterns for the quilts and I sewed them. This went on for a few years and when family members started asking (and sometimes telling me) to make them a quilt here and a quilt there, I knew it was time to find something else to do.

So, I’ve been watching a lot of streaming shows on Hulu and Project Runway has always been one of my favorites. As I was watching some of the old shows I realized how it would be nice to create a tagger kit with a fashion theme. So, to make a long story short (too late now, lol) I came up with the new tagger kit called “Fashionable” which you can find in my shop HERE.

Now if you’ve made it through all that then I guess you’re about ready for that freebie I was telling you about. This is a digital quick page that I made years ago and thought someone might like it. I think I used an old Autumn themed digital scrap kit to make it but unfortunately that old kit was lost when my old computer died. So all I have to remember it by is this freebie. About This Site

This site isn’t what you would call “brand new”. It’s been a project of mine for the past few years, and at one time or another I offered plenty of scrapbook freebies for visitors of this site.

Recently I reopened my scrapbook shop. So, since I already had this domain name (Scrapbook Freebies) just sitting there, I figured I would put it to good use (once again) for my freebies and to update visitors about my scrapbook shop too.

Anyway, I finally got my scrapbook shop uploaded with products and here are a few new ones that you’ve probably never seen before.

Awesome is a MEGA tagger scrap kit with lots of elements and papers to keep you busy tagging for a long time, lol. It also includes 3 alpha sets and 6 solid papers that are NOT shown in the preview. You can click on the preview below to see this product in my shop.

Awesome Mega Kit

Vixen is a tagger kit that I started off making one day and then after making it, I thought about changing the colors completely in the kit. The results are 2 tagger kits with mostly the same elements and papers but with different colors, lol. The other kit is called “Vintage Summer” and if you see a lot of the same papers and elements in that kit as this one, then you’ll know that they are mostly the same except for the different colors. You can click on the preview below to see this kit in my shop.
