I have changed the downloads for this site. From now on ANYONE can download my freebies and there is no need to register to download them anymore. Thought that would help some of you who were having issues with trying to download them. I will also be adding more freebie here very soon. Well, wouldn’t you know it? The file host I’ve been using for my files for download are now trying to get me to pay for uploading my files. And all the files I have already uploaded are now being used as a blackmail weapon against me. In other words, in order to download my files I first have to pay to download them. And that goes for ALL of the files I have uploaded to that file host site.
So, it looks like I have 2 choices here. Either I shut down my paid members area OR I try and find another file host who won’t do to me what this last file host did. And I think it’s pretty dirty that a company uses these kind of tactics to get people to upload files and then hold them for ransom later. Yes, pretty dirty indeed.
I will have to think about what I’m going to do now. So, in the mean time, there is no need to subscribe to the paid members area if you can’t download any of the files without them charging you to download them. Ugh, this really upsets me.
Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I am going to go back to using this site as my scrapbook freebies website where visitors can download the scrapbook freebies that I make. I had wanted to create a paid subscription area for paid members that hosted all the scrapbook products (and freebies) that I had ever created. Sadly, this did not come out as planned. I had some problems with a file host who decided to hold all my files ransom until I paid to download each one of them. Of course I had enough sense to not delete any of my files after uploading them to that site or I would have had no choice but to agree to there demands.
It’s pretty sad when you signup with a file host and they tell you your files are private, available for download with no expiration dates and then after so many days they send an email telling you that your files can no longer be downloaded for free unless you pay to download them all. The business tactics they are using are downright dirty and I feel sorry for anyone who uses them in the future.
